Tuesday, October 30th - Kandy Hyde from Little Friends Foundation and Ollie Thompson from The Roatan' Women's Club were on the show to talk about the "Casino Night" Fundraiser at Parrot Tree on Saturday, Nov 3rd.

Monday October 29th - Professional New York City Chef Annemarie Minke was on the show. One of her goals is to establish the first chef, cooking and catering school here on the Bay Islands.

Thursday, October 25th - Roger Marshall, also from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, will be on the show to talk about plans to construct the islands first safe house for abused women and children.

Monday, October 22nd - Captain Brian Beamish and Lieutenant Kevin Riddle of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office in Phoenix, Arizona were on the show with Commissario Julio Benitez to talk about the sisterhood program well under way between their police departments and our own here in Honduras and especially the Bay Islands.

19th - RECO General Manager Humberto Meza gave latest update about the generators and the recent need for blackouts.

6th - RECO General Manager Humberto Meza informed us about the new generators that were going to be back online in the next few days that should curtail the need to area brown-outs.

4th - Mayor Dale Jackson and Governor Arlie Thompson were on the show to share Hurricane Felix storm plans. The plans for evacuation were executed and thousands left the island. The people that left the island by boat and many by plane ended up unknowingly go right near the center of the storm.

9th - Mural Artists Joan Bourque and Sallie Cross along with teachers June Stockbridge and Tamara Addis are on the island as volunteers teaching children how to paint murals on their schools. ArtfulOceans.org is their website.

6th - Dr. Leonel Toledo and Dr. Patte Bishop are volunteering at the downtown Roatan Hospital.

Dr. Leonel is a General Pediatrician from Chiuldren's Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Patte is an attending Pediatric Surgeon at Children's Hospital in Oakland, Ca.

June 2007

27th - Sully and Ron - Sully is an Irish Tenor and Ron is a guitar player and has a great voice. A very entertaining show!

13th - Arlie Thompson - The Governor of the Bay Islands and one of the key authors of the Bi-Laws of the new Free Zone Trade Agreement, which will begin on June 28th!

12th - Humberto Meza - The current General Manager of RECO was on the show doing two short interviews done in late May and early June.

March 19th - Lex Gopnik is a news anchor and producer for an environmental radio show called "Meet the Planet." His shows are heard across North America on Sirius Satellite radio. He is here to do 3 or 4 feature stories about the environment on Roatan and how the people and government of Honduras are maintaining it. 28th - Jill Foster representing The US Embassy in Tegucigalpa, Gregory Campbell of the Canadian Embassy located in Costa Rica and Carl Malin from the British Embassy in Guademala, came together for this first time in Bay Island history to meet with people living on Roatan.

January 2007

28th - National Police Commissario Julio Benitez, Chief Deputy David Hendershott and Captain Jim Miller of The Maracopa County Sheriffs Office of the Phoenix Arizona area in the studio.

24th - Michael Senn from Emlaces Satelitales from San Pedro Sula. Michael has been installing satellite Internet service to mainlanders for two years and came to Roatan to offer his services after TTI was put out of business.

19th - Mario Velasquez, the head of Globalnet came on the show a week after TTI went down. He spoke about the services his company had to offer to help the people of the island who lost their Internet services.

18th - Clint Bodden on a phone interview about the current state at RECO.

16th - Nickolai from the Roatan Yacht Club was invited to the show to share what he learned from his research on Internet service providers. His in depth investigation helped him decide for himself what service to start with for his clients. His added responsibility of having an antenea on a high spot that supports Internet service on the East End made his study and undertaking a more serious one kniowing that the outcome would effect many people. (On March 2nd, Nickolai was murdered on the grounds of the Roatan Yacht Club. The Police investigation has not yet come up with the killer.)

8th - Jerry Lou Miller - She has started a kindergarden class in the Mud Hole School where there was no budget to have one before. What can you contribute to this kindergarden class?

President of Canaturh Bay Islands Romeo Silvestri was a call-in guest to tell the audience the latest information about TTI - Tropico no longer being the islands Internet service provider and how long it might take for people formally with TTI to get a new provider.

3rd - Several volunteer Pre-Med students from the University of Texas were on the show. They are on the island volunteering their time painting and fixing up a local Sandy Bay school while working at Clinica Espiranza. They are:

December 28th - Ian Brownley - The Consul General, the second in command at the US Embassy was in-studio talking about many subjects.

Several top political leaders from The Bay Islands and the mainland where heard on the show in pre-recorded, exclusive interviews. They shared their thoughts on the two new agreements (official ratification of the new Free Zone agreement signed by the President Mel Zelaya, and the ground breaking of the construction for the new Royal Caribbean Cruiseline dock and community) that were signed the day before at Coral Cay.

Tuesday, July 25th - HIV and AIDS community activist Valerie Nelson and several others came on the show to talk about recent advances and changes in the battle against HIV/Aids. On the show for the first time were two island women who were HIV positive. Annie Kay and Sheila shared their story with us. Also on the show was Ed and Maria Carson from Edmonton, Alberta here from an organization called Change for Children. Tuesday July 25th, 2006 36 minutes.

The new Minister of Tourism, Ricardo Martinez was the first Honduran Minister to do a show "live" in studio. He talked about any and all subjects asked of him.

June 21st - Dr. Santiago Soto -New Veterinarian to the island, will be on the show to discuss his experience and plans for working on the island.

June 16th - Clint Bodden, former General manager of RECO discussed the agreement reached by community groups that prevented further road blocks.

June 13th - Rich Wilson from ICRANMAR is again on Roatan to give a great two day seminar on Roatan for the reef conservation at the mayan Princess Resort in West Bay Beach on Thursday, June 15th and Friday, June 16th from 9 to 5 both days.

Also on the show will be Miss Deborah Prieskop, the woman responsible for starting the island first Steel Drum Band. She is opening classes to new students on Monday, June 19th.
